Richard Chivers
Richard Chivers is a documentary photographer whose work broadly examines our perception of landscape and how it is shaped and re-shaped over time. His work documents rural, industrial and urban spaces, combining history, geography, architecture and social themes that convey the complex nature of landscape. Richard uses photography as a descriptive medium, looking at spaces where nature and the built environment collide within industrial spaces such as quarries, or in a political urban context such as disappearing social housing.
